Technical Details

This solution is a completely new version much more performant, stabile and specially designed for VOIP services, browsing, download, online games. Ping is stabile at 680-720 ms. We can connect only one dish to one equipment.

We extended the coverage area to Central and Southern Africa near the Europe, Northern Africa and Middle East.

The service was designed for home and business users with bandwidth up to 2048 kbps DOWN and 256 kbps UP. If a greater capacity is required, more equipment can be installed to the same customer and setup the servers working in array or load balancing.

The number of TCP sessions depends of the connection type. A download from a HTTP site will use a much lower TCP sessions number than browsing a web page. This also depends of the available bandwidth and we can not be extremely precise regarding TCP sessions at the same time. The services are still under the authority of FAP but because of the greatly improved performance of the equipment the end user experiences a bigger freedom and feels the influence of FAP much lower than with a standard equipment.

A customer can receive up to 4 internet real IPs: DYNAMIC or STATIC IPs depending of his choice. For more IP addressees he needs to come up with serious business justification.

The equipment is connected to the network switch where are also connected the customer's servers. The customer's computers can run any Operating System including Windows, Linux, Mac.

The equipment uses services from W3 satellite and does not work on W1 satellite like the old TWO WAY standard equipment.

For the users located at the coverage limit we already have available 1.8 meters antennas
